I took a break from training and went down to the Maui Ag Fest. I gave a speech on sustainability -- supporting the idea of buying local and supporting our local farmers -- our "10%" initiative. I introduced Amasia and its concept, and shared that I look forward to being on Maui and meeting Maui farmers. I did get to meet some farmers I had not met before and talked story with some old friends; bought three different kinds of pai'ai (hand-pounded poi).
