(Tapas in Barcelona)

Pulpo (octopus), iberico bellota (acorn ham), paella, patatas bravas, sangria, anchovies, fried baby squid, padron peppers, eggs with foie gras on potatoes -----all very Ono.

(Basque-style Pintxos)

At Orio, a simple tapas restaurant, I finally resolved my questions on what a pintxo is or can be.   It normally has a toothpick stuck in it.   You order a drink , it comes to you, then you walk up and get what you want.   At the end you show them all your toothpicks and that's how you pay.  Just like going out for dim sum and paying a similar way, by the steamer basket. Pintxo a were almost always on bread---and can be anything

(Fish Market in Barcelona)

Last day at the Boqueria. Everything is here. Only thing is its a Monday,  the boats go out this morning. It feels like being a kid in a candy store.  There are a thousand pictures to take here alone.
