I think we had too much fun today at Cocktail Menu Development.  Sometimes when having sake, they over pour your sake cup into the wooden box or masu to symbolize abundance from the host.   We took that idea and added soda to a chocolate egg cream to make a great head and cause it to go down into the bowl like a sake over pour would.  Of course, the egg cream being an old school idea, we put the whole drink into a mason jar.  We had the kid's nonalcoholic version, and the adult version with Patron XO Cafe in it.  We even had one version whereby the kid would shake the covered mason jar at the table after receiving it, and then the soda would be added by the mom (maybe).  In any event, it was a fun drink and a fun time, which is what it is supposed to be.
