We had the senior citizens in for lunch today and as usual, they displayed one or two of the activities that they have at the center for the seniors, after lunch. Today, they showed us how they tie the tradiditonal Japanese Obi on to the kimono. Then they danced to a couple of songs, with the sensei doing the last one. Hats off to the staff, a lot of them worked last night and most of them will work tonight. I know Sonny was in at 6am to put the turkeys in and start things. We have challenges, however, the crew decided to keep the luncheon on the calendar and gave the senior citizens a post-holiday Thanksgiving turkey and ham lunch. I am very grateful for them continuing to give back to the community and appreciative of the ones that do show up for this. The seniors look forward to it so much, and the thanks we receive makes it very gratifying for the soul. Thank you gang, great job.
