This is Rae Huo, a professional photographer. We just came back from Amasia on Maui to take some pictures of the restaurant and the food. I am so happy that Rae was the photographer. First of all, she is very talented and does some really nice things with her camera. She has such a keen eye for things. Often, I am a pest at photo shoots because I whip out my amateur camera and start taking pictures alongside the photographer. Most of them don’t like it, and either wont talk to me or will give me the feeling that I am a nuisance. I guess it would be like someone following me around in the kitchen, trying to duplicate what I just did----and that would irritate me. But she was patient, and a teacher, I was the student and she didn’t make me feel stupid. I learned a lot from her and had a great time with her and Zakka, her husband, who is also a photographer. In this picture at the airport, it was ironic that we were at the Grand Wailea shooting food and eating the leftovers, yet she ended up eating a hot dog on her way home.
