I can't believe it, a little over ten hours and I am in Shanghai. This is my first time here, and what I am looking forward to most is enjoying the simple dishes that we have in Hawaii and comparing them to what I find and eat here. Some of our local Asian dishes might not even exist, as I found out when going to Korea and Japan. Just like meat jun and teriyaki beef dont exist in their respective countries, but do in Hawaii as a manifestation, or evolution of sorts. I only saw this picture that I took in postcards, or advertisements, it is unreal what this city has accomplished!
