A picture is a moment in time, recorded forever. It's in the eye of the beholder, of the person taking the picture, and it means something to them. I take these kinds of pictures and it irritates some of the people that I send it to. I don't send them anymore to them. I know exactly what I ate, with whom, when, and where. I can remember what it tasted like, that palate memory. I will do this when it triggers an idea, and I take the picture so that I will remember the idea better than if I had not taken the picture. I ate eggplant parmigiana, I loved it. The second picture is a reinterpretation of the dish but a sauce. The third picture is a sauce thickened with a roasted eggplant puree. This has legs, I will continue on the theme, I liked it.
