We have been eating all these big meals lately and it was just as satisfying to have this bowl of duck noodle at a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown called Big Wong's (haha) for breakfast today. It was very comforting, and for five bucks yet.
Every time I visit the city, I gotta go to visit Chinatown. Thirty years ago it was very different -- a lot more things were butchered in front of your eyes. It's a bit more sterile now -- cleaned up -- I guess for the better, but I sort of miss the feeling I get only when I am in Southeast Asia at a wet market, like the wild west.
