I had the privilege of playing with KJ Choi in the Pro Am at this year's Sony Open. Fred was my caddie for that day. I always enjoy watching the pros strike the ball. Their swings are so grooved, like a machine, and fine tuned, it's a thing of beauty, I guess if you play golf. Of course, your ego comes into play and you always want to hit it as far and as straight as the pros who can and do at will. If you want to get better at anything, play with someone better than you. I not only learn more about the game of golf, but I also watch how they handle themselves, and the public, who are clamoring for autographs at every chance, and the strangers that come up to them, some embrace it, some shun away from it. I had a great day playing with KJ and a few others. He was a gentleman, a nice guy, personable, funny, and like he said, " the pro am should be fun, people should be laughing, it's for the amateurs." The man can also play golf.
