It was great to see this tonight, the kitchen having fun. They have been hit with some challenges this year like no other. It was gratifying to listen to some say that even though they faced adversity, they learned a tremendous amount about themselves. This bunch will remember this year, and they will grow and be better for it. There are two kinds of roads to take, one is the straight road, and the other is the curving winding road, full of challenges. While some will choose the straight easier way, it is the curvy road that teaches us the most and makes us better for it. With some time, whoever stays and perseveres will be some of our future chefs.
