(...uh, impaired social and emotional abilities anyway)

When I first read this I thought it was about Einstein saying that if the bees disappeared off the face of the earth, earth would have seven years to live and that’s how important the bees are to us--------------while on the cruise, one compulsive cell phone user whom I will not mention said that it was kind of refreshing not having the ability to communicate as freely back to Hawaii and therefore, not using his phone at all.  When I look back, a lot of people refrained, maybe it was the vacation thing, maybe it was the long distance thing, maybe it was the cost thing, but  whatever it was, it was refreshing to me to see because I dislike the idea of not being able to be in a moment. When you are in the moment, the phone just takes you away from it as if it is more important than the people you are with, and what everyone is doing and talking about at that moment.
